Our mayor, Peter Crowe, died during his term of office and the Lady Mayoress bravely stood in his place as Mayor of Colchester for the remainder of the term. High Constables of the Watch It is with pride that the Colchester Town Watch honour all Colchester's previous mayors for whom the Watch has served, by giving them the honorary titles of High Constable of the Watch. The mayors whom we have served and so honoured are shown above. It is also with pride that we acknowledge and offer thanks for the continued patronage of our High Constables in the course of the many functions that we attend.
